Jonathan Switzer

Jonathan Switzer and his spouse Carol pastored together from 1995-2018. They pastored in Frederick from 2001-2018, during which time Jonathan served as President of the Evangelical Ministerial Fellowship representing over 60 local churches and ministries. The fellowship partnered with the Convoy of Hope to serve community needs and started the Frederick48 fundraising campaign, now called the UNITY campaign, which to date has raised over 3 million for over 30 different non-profits in Frederick.

In March of 2018, they started Crossed Bridges which unifies the community to meet our greatest needs to restore the good that God intends. Initiatives include a 35-church prayer canopy, the Frederick County Goes Purple community wide response to opioids with Purple Certified Training for Businesses, and The Bridge which connects business, community and church volunteers with crisis family needs identified by local non-profits in real time. They continue to identify strategic initiatives to bridge the community together in these polarized times.
