Episode 5 | Are You Sure? Youth Resiliency

Although they’re young, it can be difficult for youth to navigate through their lives. Wanting to success in school, athletic obligations, acceptance among their peers and just trying to enjoy their young lives are just a few things on their plates.

You add some adversity, some obstacles, some challenges and this can throw their lives into a tailspin. The inability to handle setbacks, disappointments and peer pressure can lead to risky behavior and possibly devastating outcomes.

Unfortunately a large number of youth go down this path because of a lack of resiliency, the ability to face and cope with adversity. On the program today, Phyllis Randall, Chair Loudoun County Board of Supervisors & Pastor Jim Supp talks about youth resiliency.
