Scott Maurer is the Executive Director of New Day Help Center. He is responsible for providing organizational oversight and direction, training volunteers, and conduction most of the individual and family counseling.
Scott has spent the last 15 years in pastoral ministry as an associate pastor and senior pastor of several churches. He is a member of the Christians Association for Psychological Studies, the American Association of Christian Counselors and the Society for Christian Psychology.
He’s a native Alexandrian, has graduate degrees from the Elliot School of International Affairs at George Washington University and from Liberty Theological Seminary, as well as a doctorate from Bethel Seminary. He is pastor of West City Fellowship in Alexandria, VA, where he lives with his wife and children.
